Slander
by
Seah Greenhorn
(Poem with copyright)
Opposers
Slander,
PURE and SIMPLE.
But
TRUTH
Endures;
Rises
Above,
Beyond!
In its
Ascent
Uncloaks
distorted
ugly
schemes--
themes
somewhat
concealed
in equally
contorted/
crippled
frames.
Their
saddened
Brains,
Always
Contriving.
Shamed,
Shameful,
they
proclaim fables
to
Disguise
their lack of
Beauty,
their
Unable-
ness.
Maybe.
LIES
Only
Blanket
their
HATRED,
which covers
the skin
of their
Envy,
Buried
Within--
A
Thin
Breathing
UNENTITLED
Shield
of
Arrogance,
This
Cultivated
Veneer,
Until
The
Bright
Light
of
Clear
Proof
Shines
Brilliantly.
Reveals
the
aged lines
of their
bitterness,
of
their anger,
of
their
DYING,
though,
Already
Dead
in their
Hearts.
Yes,
also
tragically,
Decaying
in
their
Heads.
