To #Adversity I Replied

To #Adversity I Replied
By Seah Greenhorn
(Poem with copyright)

To Adversity I replied:

"I won't stop breathing!

Won't
lie down and die!"

No shameful cry:
"Uncle!"

though, you demand
with fingers
snarled in my hair,

Both hands
entwined,

mashing my face in sand.

In Pit and Mire--
more aptly described.

Your goal
again
new

for me to expire.

"I won't stop breathing!"
to Adversity I replied,

When
you demand
I lie down and die!

"Ludicrous!" you deny...
"Pit and mire?"

"Okay!

Demand--insidiously
implied." ... You in effect,
maligning my senses.

I didn't stammer: "I'm still conscious;

not totally senseless!"

Crushed;
suppressed--

my Smile?

"No!"

Though, I've been burned.

You

Aware,

Knowing

even lips chapped

Upturned,

however cracked and bleeding,

can elicit

much More

than
a spurn.

But,

turn or roll me over

someone special.
Please!

Appease with these:

Soft face,

hand too,

extended,

stretching to ease.

My eyes moistened by pain,

still notes

the slight tilt of your lids--
your eyes,

when in compassion

crinkles.

Lifts

my soul to the highs!

Smile! Do Smile!

Therein lies:

expressed
hope
magnanimous!

A heart
open,
warm
and generous!

My chance to defy

again

To Adversity--

with
help
to reply:

"I didn't stop breathing
when you

commanded:

"Die!"

I Am 'Just Saying'...

I Am
'Just Saying'

By Seah Greenhorn
(with copyright)

What you do
Does
affect us.

If you dress
totally 'sexy'

or bare it all;

but he can't find you

or give
you
a call;

What exactly do you think
he's gonna do?

Read a book?
Call his guy friend?

Jump in his car
just to give it a spin?

Or will he prowl the streets
With a itch in hand

Looking for
a willing/unwilling
#victim

to supply #on-demand?

Come on girls...
Give us a break.

If you 'rev' them up
but don't participate

you're an accomplice
to #malice
against your 'fella' mate.

Don't take this
as an opportunity
"to #fling
some 'hate.'"

We just want to curb
this violence

that 'Too #Sexy'

perpetuates

against

sisters,

daughters,

even mothers.

Think about us

just trying
to navigate

these daily streets,
among all this
female hate.

We too need to
carve out
a living

for our
families
sake.

A little
less
flesh,

Please.

Or for
Us

it's

Too Late.

I Am
'Just Saying.'

To Live Nutritionally or To Die Deliciously?

To Live Nutritionally or To Die Deliciously?

by Seah Greenhorn
(Poem with copyright)

"Ah!

To
Die

Deliciously!"

Many

Happily

Chose.

As if
Any
Nutrition

Whatsoever

would
Compromise

their

Joy

In Living.

All

Flavor
or
Color

in the World

they would

Distastefully

Lose.

Sadly,

Ignorance

through
Microwaved
Gratification

Leads
to

'No taste'

for

Savory
Education.

Mass
Quantities

of

'Fast food'

Gobbled down

Senseless

Stifles

Developing/Enhancing

our

Created

Senses

for

Banquets
Carefully
Prepared

And

Even
Delicacies

Internationally

Shared.

It

Dulls and Weighs
Down

a Lively
Imagination

and

It

Kills

Energetic
Sensations

Stimulating

A
Natural and Healthy

Desire

for a Long and Lovely
Life

of
Timeless

Duration.

A diet of
only
'Fast food'

While
Excitedly
'Tasty'

Only

Clogs the arteries.

Promotes

A
Death

Hasty.

When Will True Peace Ever Be?

When Will True Peace True Peace Ever Be?

by Seah Greenhorn
(Song/poem and art with copyright)

When

Will
True Peace

Ever
Be?

Is it really

in the power
of all
Humanity?

Must I

Sacrifice
My Faith

or Die?

The Price

Demanded

Way
Too
high

for your
Security!

Why try to
Sell me air

When
it's
Free

to Share ...

Or try to
Cause me Scare

For My
Life
to Spare.

When

Will
True Peace

Ever
Be?

Is it Something
we will see

Or merely
a
Lovely
Dream?

If I
Sacrifice

My Faith

I'll
Forever

Die!

This is a

Price

Too
high

for your
Security!

So tell me.

Yes ... tell me!

When

Will

True Peace

Ever
Be?

It's
in the power

of the Creator
of
Humanity.

No need to

Sacrifice
My Faith;

For THIS
I'll
Die!

An
Endless Life

Right Here
on Earth;

Christ's Death--
Security!

When Will True Peace
Ever
Be?

Soon!

When Will True Peace
Ever
Be?

We're
Not

Doomed!

Soon True Peace There Will Be.

Yes!

Soon True Peace There Will Be.

Yes. . .

Soon True Peace There Will Be.

(One day soon to be sung and posted on youtube.)

Based on: Matt. 10: 24-42; 6:9,10; John 17:3.

Here is an additional thought-provoking promise that continually reaffirms many:
God . . . will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed.Dan. 2:44.

Bible Students of the late 1800's pointed out that the year 1914 would prove significant. Yet, many people at that time were optimistic. Had obvious reason to be. As one writer states: “The world of 1914 was full of hope and promise.”

However, with the outbreak of World War I later that year, Bible prophecy prevailed. Subsequent famines, earthquakes, and pestilences as well as the fulfillment of other Bible prophecies demonstrated conclusively that Jesus Christ had begun to rule in heaven as King of God’s Kingdom in 1914.

His first mission as God’s newly installed King: Wage war against his Father’s chief Adversary, Satan. Jesus was more than eager to oblige. He and his angels kicked the Devil and his demons straight out of heaven. The rest of God'said heavenly host rejoiced as peace was restored there! (In harmony with the Lord's Pray ... God's will was done in heaven. Now attention was directed to the earth.)

As great rejoicing occurred in heaven, a time of unprecedented calamity began here on earth. (Rev. 12:7-9, 12) So, the King, Jesus Christ, turned his attention to his earthly subjects to refine, educate, and organize them to do his Father's will before God's Grand Finale. w14 1/15 2:3, 4

Many are suffering, but have a hope. Yet, at times our hope needs to be reaffirmed. Thus why this song/ poem was written.

Tongue and Pin--Should We Not Harness Their Power ... Within?

Tongue and Pin--Should We Not Harness Their Power ... Within?

By Seah Greenhorn
(with copyright)

Instinctively wise:

The rock badger, who makes his home in the crags.

The locust, without king, but forceful and destructive; their formation forward in motion.

The gecko lizard, clinging with his feet,
even in the palace of the king.

And tiny ants gathering their food
all summer long.

Instinctively wise.

Created that way.

Can a badger
Choose
to gather with the ant?

Can the locust
Choose
to lair with the lizard?

No. ... Instinctively wise. ... The Creator's choice.

The Creator's choice?

To give us a voice.

Through tongue or pin.

Should we not

harness

their power ...

within?

True,
"no human can tame the tongue."

And

"Thoughtless speech
is like the stabs
of a sword."

"Unruly and injurious,

full of deadly poison."

But, "the tongue of the wise is a healing."

We Must
remember this
with Feeling ...

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue."

Yet, what are we seeking?

Refreshment and
endless life.

So, this too remember is true ...

"a Spring does not cause
the fresh water and the bitter water
to bubble out of the same opening,

does it?"

So too our words.

Through tongue

or written word

they should instill

Peace.

"A small part of the body ...

See how small a fire it takes to set a great forest ablaze!

The tongue is also a fire."

Likewise, the pin.

Should we not

harness

their power ...

within?

Think 'atom.'

Proverbs 12:18; 18:21; 30:24-28; Ps. 19: 1, 2; John 17:3; and James 3:5-8;

A 'Zoo' Is Not a 'Circus'

A 'Zoo' Is Not a 'Circus'

By Seah Greenhorn
(poem with copyright)

A tragedy skillfully eluded; though casualities
not wholly spared,

when under the Supreme guidance
of the Founder

diverse creatures

(wild, domestic,
some tragically extinct)

He lovingly redirected, recaged,
and nutritionally fed.

He honestly cared.

*

An organization
He originally developed;

an audience
Not
simply to impress:

Education,
Enlightenment,

and feats of nature,
especially children,
appreciatively observed, through

Zoos--
internationally addressed.

(Established
for the edification of All.)

A marvelous system.
A wonderful exchange.

Some audience and animal interaction.
Abundant knowledge to gain.

This atmosphere of
introspective
comradery

He blessed.

But a 'Zoo' is
Not a 'Circus,'

though animals in common exist.
And peace between men and mammals

Must harmoniously persist.

For a 'Ring Master'
commands
attention;

Demands
acknowledgement
as he cracks his leather whip.

The world to seduce--an ocean.
His arrogance steers his ship.

To entertain--Now that's his profession!
Total amusement
ostensibly his desire.

For exclamations solely.
His ideas provocatively inspired.

But a 'Ring Master'
the Founder
did not need.

A 'Ring Master'
He did not hire.

*

The bars of security and protection
distracted guardians

hazardly forgot.

Foolishy kept raised.

Lives of humans and animals
endangered,
as caretakers
humorously played.

Amidst
giggles, laughs, claps and praise
once contained lions
the 'Ring Master' unwisely let prowl,

while around the grounds
snakes stealthy slithered;

unauthorized; thus unpaid.

Restraints necessary
indifferently mislaid.

Tiny chipmunks and other critters
immediately disappeared

as sidelined monkeys
paced and squealed

when crocodiles
devoured

unattended, re- or misdirected,
sadly unprotected baby seals.

Yet ... averted? ... Total chaos!
with principles old and new now applied.
The 'Ring Masters?' ... Wicked history.
Their crew forcibly fired.

Bars lowered painstakingly raised;

re-focus, gently, yet firmly renewed.

The zoo's brief ambivelent spirit
to no longer embue.

For a 'Zoo'
Is Not;

Should not ever 'be'
'Circus'.

And a 'Circus'

Cannot Be

a 'Zoo!'

"Victim--No More!"

"Victim--No More!"

by Seah Greenhorn
(Poem and art with copyright)

How did I attract his attention?
Was it the smallness of my frame?

Did he think my virtues so minor...
my being so
unimportant?

Or was it
my non-exuberant
silence

actually the blame?

My lack of attraction for him/them

the spark
that endangered this dame?

Whatever their twisted reasons...
Whatever their horrid designs...

Today
this slave
liberates

through poetry and rhyme.

For now exists
an audience

to hear of my mental anguish;
to read of my daily strain

when
without obvious options

your life

in the hands of
Aging enemies

yearly
they remain.

Patience, Prayer and Courage

These gems I thought I owned;

until

we met
some aspiring demons
renovating their home.

Managing their property--
No need mention of their names;

brought me
into such
misery

as pawn
in their diabolical game.

My mate stressed;
seeking gainful employment;

Only me,

Volunteer and housewife
someone's only daughter,

an easy prey?

Desire to satisfy perverse pleasures ...

eliviating boredom
their selfish aim?

Invited into the attic
(Supposedly to see)

ladder stairs
let down
to be

a fool
my mother birthed

if
permitted

two strangers
to follow!
Though in sincerity,

someone higher
lovingly
watched over me.

(Gave me a brain
so as not to be deceived.)

Various days avoiding
innocent tight spots
so as not to be confined

Their sinister game
became
more dangerous

A slow destroy of body
along with anxious mind.

If details I were to mention
you too would be suspect

of my sanity; my education
my honesty; my intellect.
(So to myself my secret kept.)

Yet, when home
I would endeavor
to endure

until unbearable
no longer felt--

a constant electric pain.

However,
anxious concern
still remained;

I stagnated.

Eroding,

the energy
Necessary--

others to elevate.

With this inability
to inspire

I warred. With it I delt.

Since my joy?
I crave to
energically participate.

So this is my way

in my anger
to expose

those banded cowards
that mentally,

almost physically
maimed me.

Loosed me
Raised me
Freed me?

My electronic pin,

from those who my emotions,
spiderly, they entwined.

Even happily

if in this day
somehow I die

(Though give them that satisfaction?
Let them continue up to try.)

my purpose I defend.

Each link in this sordid chain

my words can them
help to identify.

"To All Rental Injustices --
An End!"

To this be our motto.

"Victim -- No More!"

To this be
Our Cry!

(Anybody know of a inexpensive tent?)
