You & Me
A Miracle
we proved to be.
There will always be a you
and always be a me,
as individuals
throughout an eternity.
But whether 'You'
or whether 'Me'
as persons uniquely 'we'
as at a precise
moment
we came to be
with a mom and dad
of DNA specifically
forming a 'you'
and forming a 'me'
special
even in our
adversities
not foreseeable
as in crystal ball
foretelling
falsities.
Handsome, beautiful,
short or tall,
quiet or loud
bones, big or tiny,
small
Quick-witted or not
is fine
for life, at all,
is extremely divine.
And if not
at that
connection in time
then 'you' or 'me'
would not exist
as 'you' or 'me'
as uniquely 'we'
in another's mind.
For at conception
we came to be
amazingly
'you' and 'me'
despite our imperfections
and impurities.
Desiring to be loved
and given respect
even as we live in this world
where true justice is suspect.
For Job too, in his anguish,
did neglect this type gratitude
of which King David to God
did graciously direct
after deep meditation
aiding him to reflect:
"Your eyes even saw me as an embryo;
All its parts
were written in your book
Regarding the days when they were formed,
Before any of them existed." Ps. 139:16.
Yes, Job
in his agony over problems
of which he could not correct
lamented:
“Let the day perish
on which I was born,
Also the night when someone said:
‘A man has been conceived!’" Job 3:3.*
In his tragedy
his constant negativity
understandably
needed to be refined:
"Let that day be darkness.
Let God above show no concern for it;
Let no light shine upon it.
Let the deepest darkness* reclaim it.
Let a rain cloud settle over it.
Let whatever darkens the day terrify it.
That night—let the gloom seize it;
Let it not rejoice among the days of a year,
And let it not enter among the number of the months.
Indeed! Let that night become barren;
Let no joyful cry be heard in it.
Let those who curse the day put a curse on it,
Those who are able to awaken Le·viʹa·than.
Let the stars of its twilight grow dark;
Let it wait in vain for daylight,
And let it not see the rays of dawn.
For it did not close the doors of my mother’s womb;
Nor did it hide trouble from my eyes.
Why did I not die at birth?
Why did I not perish when I came from the womb?
Why were there knees to receive me
And breasts to nurse me?
For now I would be lying down undisturbed;
I would be sleeping and at rest
With kings of the earth and their advisers,
Who built for themselves places that are now in ruins,
Or with princes who possessed gold,
Whose houses were filled with silver.
Or why was I not like a hidden miscarriage,
Like children who have never seen the light?
There even the wicked have ceased from agitation;
There the weary are at rest.
There the prisoners are at ease together;
They do not hear the voice of the one forcing them to work.
Small and great are the same there,
And the slave is set free from his master.
Why does he give light to one who is suffering
And life to those in bitter distress?
Why do they long for death, but it does not come?
They dig for it more than for hidden treasures,
Those who are rejoicing greatly,
Who are happy when they find the grave.
Why does he give light to a man who has lost his way,
Whom God has hedged in?
For in place of my food comes my sighing,
And my groaning pours out like water.
For what I have dreaded has come upon me,
And what I have feared has befallen me.
I have had no peace, no quiet, no rest,
But trouble keeps coming.” Job 3:4-26.
Then, redirected his focus
to this future prophecy
of which his heart was inclined:
"If a man dies, can he live again?
I will wait all the days of my compulsory service
Until my relief comes.
You will call, and I will answer you." Job 14:14, 15.
However, in a brief time
Jah reversed his circumstances
to a blessing of the highest degree:
"Look! We consider happy those who have endured.
You have heard of the endurance of Job
and have seen the outcome Jehovah gave,
that Jehovah is very tender in affection and merciful." James 5:11.
For acknowledged:
"After Jehovah had spoken these words to Job, Jehovah said to Elʹi·phaz the Teʹman·ite:
“My anger burns against you and your two companions,
for you have not spoken the truth
about me
as my servant Job has." Job 42:7.
"So Jehovah blessed the last part of Job’s life more than the beginning". Job 42:12.
So, true
individually 'me' or 'you'
may need to endure a life rooted
in abject misery or circulating misfortune
not to envied
until a future time
unseeable by 'we'
still,
"May the God who gives hope fill you with all joy and peace by your trusting in him, so that you may abound in hope with power of holy spirit." Romans 15:13.
Until accomplished this thing
now brewing into being:
"Why are the nations agitated
And the peoples muttering an empty thing?
The kings of the earth take their stand
And high officials gather together as one
Against Jehovah and against his anointed one." Ps. 2:1, 2.
'You' and 'Me'
collectively
advised to:
"Honor the son,
or God will become indignant
And you will perish from the way,
For His anger flares up quickly.
Happy are all those taking refuge in Him." Ps. 2:12.
An opportunity for safety
as a 'door of opportunity'
is open now
for even individual rulers
who've partnered with nations
against Jah's Sovereignty,
Yes, they too are counseled to flee
to Jehovah, who provides refuge
under Kingdom rule.
The Messianic Kingdom
smashing opposing nations
Will be Jah's Tool.
As said To Ezekiel,
though, let us not be fooled.
Foretold also for our day
this provision utilized in the past
will again be used
to distinguish
who'll
survive
The Great Day of Jehovah:
For, "Jehovah said to him:
“Go through the city, through Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who are sighing and groaning over all the detestable things that are being done in the city.” Ezekiel 9:4.
Hopefully,
'You' and 'Me'
He will select.
"With his pinions he will cover you,
And under his wings you will take refuge.
His faithfulness will be a large shield
and a protective wall." Psalm 91:4.
For 'You' and 'Me'
He Will Erect
so as made available
for us to see
A 'Tree of Life'
for an eternity!
*A saline abortion involves the injection of a toxic salt solution into the mother’s womb, which the baby swallows, usually causing death within two hours. The mother goes into labor about 24 hours later and delivers a dead or—in a few cases—dying baby.
